I'm Vanessa, founder of Outside Lead HR Solutions. I work with nonprofits and mission-driven organizations to make HR feel more grounded, practical, and human.

I started this because I've seen what changes when HR stops being about policies and starts being about people. My background is in leading HR inside nonprofits, and it taught me that structure and humanity aren't opposites  - they hold each other up. When people feel supported and expectations make sense, the work gets better.

That belief shows up in how I help organizations: stronger systems, clearer roles, and workplaces people don't want to leave. You get someone who brings sound HR judgment and real respect for the people doing the work - structure that holds, clarity that reduces strain, and solutions built around how your organization actually runs.

Outside of HR, I ballroom dance. It's a good reminder that partnership depends on rhythm, trust, and knowing when to adjust. That's how I work too.
